The DR Medical Beauty Group suffered 1 death and 2 injuries in a cosmetic accident eight years ago. The group’s female doctor involved in the manslaughter case was retrial. The husband and daughter of the deceased Chen Wanlin gave evidence.
Both pointed out that Chen had rarely suffered from illness.
But a few days before her death, she suddenly felt unwell.
The daughter even pointed out that Chen's face was pale and sane. When Chen was sent to the hospital, his limbs were red and purple, and said: "Through hard work, I had a baby."

The charge alleges that she illegally killed Chen Wanlin (also known as Chen Ailian, 46 years old) due to serious negligence in Hong Kong along with Zhou Xiangrong and Chen Guanzhong on October 10, 2012.

The husband of the deceased Chen Wanlin, Yang Jinkai, confessed that he and his wife were married in 1991.
Chen works in the cafe he runs, and she rarely sees a doctor.
On the night of October 3, 2012, Yang Jinkai returned to the residence. At that time, his wife had a fever and a cold, and she described it as "very hard work."

His daughter Yang Peiying pointed out that the mother's health has never been a major problem, but she had undergone surgery to remove her uterus.
On the night of October 3, 2012, Chen was pale and confused.
She then took Chen to the clinic. At that time, Chen only claimed to have worked hard and did not mention the treatment.

At 8 o'clock in the morning of the next day, Yang Peiying received a call from her father, saying that Chen was unwell in the tea restaurant, and asked Yang Peiying to take Chen home to rest.
Yang Peiying pointed out that Chen Danri's complexion was paler, and she even called it "Through hard work."
Then she accompanied Chen to the DR Group in Causeway Bay.
The staff alleged that the defendant was undergoing an operation and that someone had called an ambulance. Chen was therefore taken to Ruttonjee Hospital.
Yang Peiying pointed out that Chen's limbs were red and purple at the time.
She also pointed out that Chen Yuan was still awake and said: "It's nothing, don't worry." However, Chen began to fall into a coma at 8 o'clock the same night.
Chen passed away on the 10th of the same month.
