Until a few months ago Emma Coronel was a discreet young woman who had remained in the shadows and in silence on social networks.
He only has four photos on his Instagram profile, but his account has already reached almost 400,000 followers in recent weeks, a pull in audience and influence that brands want to take advantage of to advertise in Sinaloa.
Coronel rose to fame in the trial of El Chapo in 2019, the Mexican drug lord who, through the Sinaloa cartel, managed to introduce tons of drugs into the United States.
At that time, Coronel, one of the smuggler's several wives and the mother of his two twin daughters, lived with him in the Sierra de Sinaloa.
