The cultural event “Greetings to Tishreen” at the Cultural Center in Deir Ezzor included exhibitions of plastic art, Arabic calligraphy, decoration and burning on wood, and the book.

The event held by the Directorate of Culture in Deir Ezzor on the occasion of the October holidays in which a group of artists embodied through their paintings the beauty of their city, the splendor of its nature and its environment, inspired by the Euphrates environment. The director of culture, Ahmed Al-Ali, said in a statement to SANA's correspondent that the event comes within the framework of restoring life to the cultural movement in the governorate that is full of creative people and within the directorate’s plan to spread culture and remove the effects of terrorism that Deir Ezzor suffered from, indicating that the participating artists embodied through their paintings the survival of Syria as a land. The head of the Writers' Union branch, Zubair Sultan, indicated that the exhibition included hundreds of different titles from the Union's publications at nominal prices in order to spread and spread culture, encourage reading and stimulate creativity.

The artist, Ghassan Ramadan, explained that he participated with ten paintings focused on introducing Deir Ezzor and the handicrafts scattered in the governorate and portraying a number of Furati personalities, considering that the exhibition is evidence that life has returned to the city, especially with this massive turnout witnessed by the opening of the exhibition, which reflects the thirst of the people of the province to savor life Cultural in all its dimensions.

Calligrapher Mahmoud Hassan mentioned that he participated in ten works in different scripts, which varied between Al-Thulth, Al-Diwani, Al-Kufi and Al-Farsi, with the use of Arabic ornamentation to add aesthetic to the works.
