Five people admitted that they assembled illegally after the 6.9 parade last year and two were sentenced to four months in jail in the religious center

Thirteen men aged between 19 and 41 were later charged with participating in an illegal assembly. Five of them pleaded guilty earlier, but their sentence has been postponed in the Eastern District Court (19th).

The younger 19-year-old workers and 20-year-old students were sentenced to training centers, while the remaining three were sentenced to 4 months in prison.

The five people who pleaded guilty include: transportation worker Liang Zhanheng (19 years old), student Zhou Qilong (20 years old), decoration worker Ye Zhanpeng (23 years old), Zhang Zixi (24 years old) and Wang Shuheng (24 years old) who reported unemployed.

Liang and Tue were sentenced to training centers, and Ye, Zhang, and Wang were each sentenced to four months in prison. Liang and Zhou, who are 19 and 20 years old, respectively, said they would file a sentence review.

The remaining 8 people in the same case pleaded not guilty, and the case was postponed until tomorrow for a pre-trial review.

The case occurred on June 9 last year. The FDC launched an anti-revision demonstration. After the demonstration, a large number of demonstrators still stayed outside the Legislative Council Complex, removed water horses and iron fences, and threw sundries and lasers at police officers. The police later dispersed and pursued the Wan Chai area, eventually arresting 358 people, including the 5 defendants.
