It's good that the fire department is there.
The emergency services rescued a senior in Grainau from an awkward situation.
His car threatened to land in a stream.
Grainau - For a mission of the rarer kind, the Grainau fire brigade deployed on Sunday: An 88-year-old car had to be recovered in the Hammersbach district.
As the police say, it threatened to crash into the stream, which is currently being expanded for flood protection.
After the fire brigade secured the car, the ADAC was able to transport it away.
The driver and his wife, who was sitting next to him in the car, were unharmed.
How it came to the accident is unclear.
The car suffered only minimal damage of around 50 euros.
