Damascus-Sana
Prose texts that carried national, emotional and social concerns included in the poetry evening “Azahir Tishreen” hosted by the Arab Cultural Center in the field, in addition to spoken zajal poems that were distinguished by their approach to reality and their music.
The evening organized by the Ugarit poetic platform, Majdulain Al-Germani, opened with a text titled A Letter to the Soldier, in which she sang the heroics of the Syrian Arab Army, in addition to a text in which she spoke about the fires that affected our green mountains and a flirtation entitled Praise.
The storyteller Sana Al-Sabbagh also presented a text entitled That Eid that recounted the concerns of the Syrian society that forgot the joys of the Eid, in addition to texts entitled Attempts and Mantra of Love and Longing that carried social, subjective and emotional concerns.
The poet Bassam Waror shared a ritual poem entitled It is Syria that carried patriotic and national concern, in which it sang the nobility of Syria and the heroics of the Syrian Arab Army and the Arabism of Palestine and another entitled Munajat which dealt with the consequences of the terrorist war on the citizen and society in addition to a flirtatious and sentimental poem entitled My beloved about what is in the conscience of the lover and another titled An Eastern Man touched He crossed the customs and traditions in eastern societies, especially with regard to men and women.
