Parliament moved over the summer, almost exactly 30 years after the first free elections in Bulgaria.
The people's representatives of Bulgaria are now meeting in the bombastic building that once housed the central committee of the communist party.
But apparently only a few Bulgarians believe that this step symbolizes the victory of democracy over dictatorship.
Right on the first day of the meeting in the new house, on September 2, there were riots in front of the door between demonstrators and police, with tear gas, injured people and arrests.
Bulgarians have been protesting against their political class for more than 100 days, the largest demonstrations in the country's recent history.
People are demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Boyko Borissov.
