The Buenos Aires government announced this Monday details about the 2020-2021 summer season and announced that it will not be necessary to carry out a coronavirus test to be able to do tourism in the province of Buenos Aires.
"The question of previous tests, whether swabs or previous tests will not be a requirement to travel," said the Minister of Production, Science and Technological Innovation of Buenos Aires, Augusto Costa,
He also specified that "there will be an application, which will be Cuidar Verano, specific for the province of Buenos Aires where all the data of those who are going to travel through the province for tourist purposes will be recorded."
"There will be an application for the summer that will allow to have the information, to have statistical data on the movements and to allow that the municipalities validate that the people can move and can have the authorization".

he remarked "that everything will be subject to the epidemiological situation."

a season as long as possible
, so that there are no crowds and not many people gather in the summer resorts at the same time," he said.
The Buenos Aires governor, Axel Kicillof, who in the afternoon will also present the health protocols for the summer season in Mar del Plata.

The official indicated that they agreed that "the season will have two starting seasons: one that will begin on November 1 for owners who do not reside in tourist municipalities" and "for tourists in general, the official season will begin on December 1 and will run until April 4. "

He also stated that "for gastronomy and hotels or accommodation there will be limitations" and added that "the permanence or access to closed places of gastronomy or hotels without natural ventilation or fan will not be allowed."
"The central air conditioning systems will not be able to work because they are propagating the virus" and he added that the common spaces in closed spaces will not be used either.
Regarding the use of sinks, he said that they will be able to be used "under strict protocol."
