Why did the murderer of the San Martín policeman get out of the armed car and shoot at point-blank range?

Had something happened previously at dawn on Sunday 18 that culminated in the

crime of Fernando Ezequiel Palavecino

, 25 years old?

Did the killer know his victim?

The answers to those questions were completed after Gonzalo Pinto (25), accused of the crime of the agent of the Local Police of Tres de Febrero, and the girl who accompanied him that night testified as a witness in the murder case.

"It

all started with a joke,

" so

sources with access to the file

confirmed to

Clarín

.

It had not yet struck midnight on Saturday October 17, when Pinto stopped his grayish-blue Palio, with a part of the chassis of another color, in front of the Billinghurst square, and “got out to pee”.

Palavecino's colleague from the Tres de Febrero UPPL, who was later

discharged

from the Force, and the 15-year-old adolescent were already there.

The police officer had not yet arrived.

“It was these two young men who started making fun of Pinto.

They told him: '

Doggy, fucking

' (sic).

There a discussion broke out, which continued from car to car, and the detainee told them:

'I'm going back

.

'

And he left ”, reported the sources.

According to witnesses, there was a girl in Pinto's car at the time.

But the young woman who was with him when the crime occurred, and who testified in the case on Tuesday, told the prosecutor Favio Cardigonde, from UFI No. 7 of San Martín, that

it was not her

.

Her name is Florencia Asto, she claims to be the ex of the detainee, with whom she has a 2-year-old little boy, and the one who

convinced him to surrender

to Justice.

"He sent her a WhatsApp to let him know that she was going to turn herself in and asked what he was going to do," they explained.

Gonzalo Pinto (25) turned himself in at the courthouse: he is in prison for killing a San Martín policeman.

"Asto assures that she was at a friend's, that Pinto picked her up that morning and told her:

'Come up and accompany me, I have to go aside

.

'

He immediately realized that he

had used

”, detailed the sources.

He would have ingested cocaine and pills, and smoked marijuana.

And so they both arrived in the Fiat Palio that the detainee had recently bought at Billinghurst Square, shortly before 4 o'clock.

What happened next was filmed on security cameras in the area.

Pinto got out of the car, Asto too;

and the detainee went straight to where Palavecino, his colleague and the 15-year-old boy were.

Fernando Palavecino.

“When they saw him, the two who had mocked him before told him:

'Here he is,

here the fucking man came again

' (sic),” they described the moment before they realized that he was armed.

And they continued: “It was then that Palavecino's colleague told the policeman:

'He will take the iron, he will take the iron

.

'

And the guy shot twice: one shot killed the policeman and another hit a teenager in the buttock who was in the plaza with other boys. "

Both witnesses to the crime and Asto claimed that

she tried to calm him down

, but Pinto "was very drugged."

Therefore, the prosecutor decided not to accuse her, but to take her testimonial statement.

Something that was also agreed before they were delivered.

Drugs and a disaffected police

What did the defendant do between midnight and when, as Asto claims, he went to look for his ex?

Only the detainee knows it but

he refused to testify

before the prosecutor and was arrested.

The car of the murdered policeman, with the door open.

Pinto is accused of "

aggravated homicide by the use of a weapon

, minor injuries and illegal possession of a weapon of war", since he fired with a .45 caliber pistol that has not yet been found.

What they did find in Pinto's house during a raid that was carried out in the last few hours were

several marijuana plants

, for which the Specialized Drug Prosecutor of the San Martín Judicial Department also intervenes.

At the crime scene, the police seized Palavecino's Bersa pistol, the car, a shredder and a marijuana cigarette and

two pods served .45 caliber

.

As the colleague of the murdered police officer

did not report the incident and disappeared

from the scene, the Buenos Aires Ministry of Security confirmed that she had been disaffected from the Force.

Gonzalo Julián Pinto is 25 years old and was arrested for the crime of the police officer Fernando Palavecino (25).

"It would not be strange that they

prosecute her

in the case as well, because she is a public official and not only did she not report the fact, but she left," the sources concluded.
