A red alert was activated this evening (Tuesday) at the Sha'ar Hanegev Regional Council in the Gaza Strip.
The warning was heard in the area of Kibbutzim Kfar Aza, Nahal Oz and Kibbutz Sa'ad, and no damage or casualties were reported.
The IDF spokesman confirmed the report and said that the details were under investigation.
The incident comes less than a week since the last time a shot was fired from the Gaza Strip into Israeli territory. In the Moshav Nativ HaAsara, there were no casualties or damage in this incident either.
