The decree is posted at the entrance of the great mosque of Pantin, a large blue hangar installed in the middle of one of the cities of this city of Seine-Saint-Denis, close to those of Bobigny.
Its content, which justifies the closure of this place of worship announced on Monday evening by the Minister of the Interior, Gerald Darmanin, is overwhelming.
On three pages, it constitutes a real indictment against the president of the association which manages the site, M'Hammed Henniche, but also against his imam as well as some of the 1300 faithful frequenting the place.
According to the authorities, the mosque is a den of the
"radical Islamist movement
" which, by relaying various comments, "
facilitated
" the savage assassination of Professor Samuel Paty on October 16.
