The Minister in charge of Sports, Roxana Maracineanu, was forced to isolate herself after having been in contact with a symptomatic person and declared positive for Covid-19 on Monday, the Ministry of Sports announced on Tuesday, October 20 in a press release.

In accordance with the recommendations of the health authorities, she will observe a period of isolation of seven days at her home,
" the statement read.
The minister has no symptoms for the moment and will continue her work from home.

We recall that the people who have seen the minister in the last 72 hours are therefore not considered as contact cases
", specifies the ministry.
