French judicial sources have told CNN that there are 15 people questioned in connection with the beheading of Professor Samuel Paty on Friday.
The man taught a class on freedom of expression, during which he showed cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad taken from the satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo.
This generated controversy in the weeks leading up to his death.
