Luis Arce, the candidate dubbed by the ex-president expelled from the country a year ago, won the presidential election on Sunday.

The ballot count is still not finished in Bolivia, but congratulations on social networks are already raining.

Leading the procession, interim president Jeanine Anez acknowledged the victory of MAS, the Movement towards Socialism of ex-president Evo Morales, on Twitter, just hours after two exit polls presented Luis Arce as the winner of the presidential election.

Luis Almagro, Secretary General of the Organization of American States, came right after to wish

“much success”

to the Arce-Choquehuanca pair.

Then it was Lula, the ex-president of Brazil, who congratulated the

"Bolivian people"

for having

"restored democracy"

.

And finally Miguel Diaz-Canel, from Cuba, or Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, the Mexican president.
