The famous basilica which dominates Paris should be classified as a historical monument next year.

No less than six officials, including the prefect, the rector of the sanctuary and the Minister of Culture were gathered this Tuesday evening at the prefecture of Île-de-France, to announce the news: by 2021, the basilica du Sacré-Cœur, an emblem of Paris overlooking the Butte Montmartre, will be classified as a historical monument.
