Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov denied the accusations and allegations that the Russian security services carried out cyber attacks on the Olympic Games in Japan.
Sputnik quoted Peskov as telling reporters: “We have heard such information in this regard and we are unfortunately following the approach aimed at accusing Russia or its security services of everything ... This reminds us of the setbacks associated with the disinformation and intimidation campaign against Russia, which has nothing to do with reality.”
Yesterday, the US Department of Justice and the FBI accused 6 Russian citizens of carrying out a series of cyber attacks and spreading malware with the aim of attacking the infrastructure of other countries and the elections in them for the benefit of Russia, as they claim.
