Refurbishment in Berglern: patient Eittinger Strasse

The Berglerner municipal council has prepared the road rehabilitation of Eittinger Straße in a private way - for 50,000 euros.

“It is very much in need of renovation,” said Mayor Anton Scherer after his announcement at the most recent public meeting.

The road drainage causes grief.

The speed limit of 40 km / h has been in force there for a long time.

There were ideas to add the road to the district, as it were, because of the regional importance of traffic, especially in rush hour traffic.

Scherer had brought this back into play at the 2018 citizens' meeting, but it annoyed District Administrator Martin Bayerstorfer: “I warn against believing that it is so easy!” After all, the district chief had promised that he could have it checked .

Herbert Knur had already tried in vain.

The district would only take over the road in a "proper condition".

That is the law and also applies to gradations of streets.

The topic is not off the table with the renovation that has now begun, but first of all it is the municipality's turn as the current road construction agency.
