These exchanges took place on WhatsApp messaging, added this close source, confirming information from BFMTV, without giving details on their content.
The father of the college girl had given his phone number on Facebook in a message accompanying a video released on October 8, in which he called for mobilization against Samuel Paty after a course on the cartoons of Muhammad which, he said, had attended her daughter.
The latter, in 4th grade, was indeed part of a class to which Samuel Paty gave a course on freedom of expression on October 6, but she was absent that day, according to a source familiar with the matter.
On October 12, he broadcast on Youtube a new video targeting the teacher, where he was seen in the company of Islamist activist Abdelhakim Sefrioui.
The two men were in custody Tuesday afternoon in this anti-terrorism investigation, with 14 other people including five college students.
