Snir has set up a "social emergency room" for needy families in the days of the Corona, and this week provided immediate assistance to more than 150 families across the country.

Quite a few households have lost their heating headquarters following the Corona crisis.

At Snir, the Equal Opportunity Association, founded by real estate man Nir Shmol and run by Einat Oshri, began providing primary care to the needy.

Among other things, you can get financial assistance to pay for basic needs, such as rent, property taxes, bills, dental care and food baskets.

Assistance is also offered to families who are in complex legal and financial situations.

Among the cases that have been handled recently: renovation of the home of an elderly woman from Lod, financial assistance to a single mother who got into debt, payment of the electricity bill and accompaniment by a volunteer for a 93-year-old elderly man from Ramat Gan and many other cases.

The directors of the Snir Association are young businessmen who see volunteer social activities as a central part of their lives.

Einat Oshri, CEO of Snir: "We need more volunteers around the country to meet with the families.

Our goal is to provide 2 baskets of food a month for each family and to reach 100 families by the end of the year, at a total cost of NIS 100,000. "
