The Bayerische Regiobahn (BRB) is carrying out a software update on the Lint trains together with the train manufacturer Alstom.
It should speed up the door release.
District
- According to its own information, the BRB continues to work hard to improve the new Lint fleet and does so in close cooperation with the train manufacturer Alstom.
Alstom will install a software update on all vehicles, which will ensure that the door release works faster during coupling processes and that delays can be avoided.
However, this is not possible during ongoing operation, but only when the vehicles are switched off at night, since all vehicles must have the same software version for ongoing operation.
The recording is planned for the night from Friday to Saturday (23rd to 24th October) with three to four vehicles each in the train stations Lenggries, Tegernsee and Bayrischzell.
During the work the engines of the trains must be started and the doors opened and closed several times.
The BRB apologizes for the noise nuisance of residents near the train station.
