The corona numbers in the Starnberg district are rising sharply, on Sunday the district exceeded the limit of 50 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in one week. The latest about the situation in our ticker.

The corona numbers in the Starnberg district are rising sharply, on Sunday the district exceeded the limit of 50 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in one week.

The latest about the situation in our ticker.

  • The number of corona cases has increased in the Starnberg district - on Monday there were actually five cases, actually six, but one from the weekend was a false report.

The seven-day incidence, according to the district administration's calculation, is 50.49.

  • The district is just under 50 for the state and federal authorities.

  • In many areas it is mandatory to wear a mask outdoors: at all S-Bahn stations and for Andechs Monastery, but not on the lakeside promenades.

  • A special rule now applies to schools in the district that is intended to prevent class splits for as long as possible due to the minimum distance.

Tuesday, 2 p.m .:

All doubts as to whether the

district is a risk area

or not have been eliminated: The LGL has just published its figures for Tuesday, the Starnberg district is listed there with a

seven-day incidence of 50.49

.

This means that all the rules that have been suspended in the past few days due to different information apply: a

maximum of five people or two households at private meetings, a mask requirement for all students and teachers and the like

.

These rules now apply regardless of the values for six days.

Coronavirus in the Starnberg district: numbers continue to rise - critical limit reached

Tuesday, 11.20 a.m.:

Due to the still

high number of corona cases

, the Asklepios Clinic Gauting is taking rigid measures - visitors are prohibited from Wednesday.

"We are of course aware of the psychological and social consequences of stopping visitors," explains Jörgen Wißler, Managing Director of the Gauting Lung Clinic.

“After careful consideration and internal coordination with the medical management group, we nevertheless decided to go this way.

We care about the safety of our patients and our employees. ”At present, new Covid 19 patients are being treated in Gauting, one of them in the intensive care unit.

"The aim of the measure is to prevent the virus from being introduced into the clinic unconsciously and unnoticed," explains Medical Director Dr.

Wolfgang Gesierich.

“We have a close-knit screening for the patients who regularly come to us for treatment.

Tests are also carried out in the group of employees according to RKI guidelines, and series tests are also carried out as required.

So far, these internal measures have been sufficient.

Since a corona infection can run completely without symptoms and we cannot test every visitor or adequately check test results we have brought with us, a ban on visits is inevitable in the current infectious situation. "

Tuesday, October 20, 8:15 am:

Is the district now a risk area or not?

Is the seven-day incidence above 50 or just below?

The confusion with the numbers continues on Tuesday.

While the district has, according to its own calculations, over 50 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in seven days since Sunday (according to the data from Monday), the RKI gives the value on Tuesday morning as 48.3.

There are no figures from the LGL on Tuesday, on Monday the value was 49.02.

This has legal consequences, because the rules of the Infection Protection Ordinance then actually apply to circles above 35, which has an impact on the upper limit for private meetings (ten instead of five), the mask requirement in primary schools and the like.

District Administrator Stefan Frey made it clear on Monday evening that he has little understanding for the delay, because that should be the background for the different numbers.

At the RKI, 919 cases are recorded for the district on Tuesday morning since the beginning of the year, the district is at 950. It is known that it takes several days for cases from Starnberg to appear in the calculation.

The district administrator has been trying to clarify these questions since Monday.

Coronavirus in the Starnberg district: limit of 35 already reached

On Monday, the Free State led the Starnberg district as a district with more than 35, not more than 50. While the state government classifies its own list as decisive, the RKI considers the local numbers to be decisive because they are the most up-to-date.

Monday, October 19, 6 p.m .:

The day did not bring any serious new findings or developments, as the incidence has not changed.

The well-known rules for 50 plus continue to apply - even if the seven-day value drops again, these guidelines from the district and Free State continue to apply for six days.

This means that only a maximum of five people or two households can meet privately.

The mask requirement and alcohol bans remain in force.

The seven-day incidence is still, albeit slightly, over 50. This makes the district a risk area.

Sunday, 7 p.m .:

The new general decree is now available, it is within the expected framework.

In addition to the mask requirement and the alcohol ban, now from 10 p.m., the special route is laid down in schools.

If you have cold symptoms, a SARS-Cov-2 test is mandatory if you want to go back to school.

For the time being, the district is suspending the minimum distance of 1.5 meters between students in the classes, so that school operations can continue - there is a strict mask requirement for everyone.

The same applies to children's institutions - no upper limit of ten children, but fixed groups.

District Administrator Stefan Frey: “We will keep schools and kindergartens running for as long as possible and use our leeway here as much as possible.

We also act with the necessary sense of proportion when determining the places where masks are required and where alcohol is prohibited from 10 p.m.

Sunday, 5.30 p.m.:

The district exceeded the threshold of 50 cases in seven days and per 100,000 inhabitants.

As the district office announced in the late afternoon, there were ten new cases on Sunday.

The seven-day incidence is therefore 50.49 at 4 p.m. - and then increased even further to 51.22.

The district will issue a new order on Sunday evening with rules for the next few days.

They cover them with the previous ones, they are just stricter.

On the basis of Bavaria-wide regulations, the following now applies: The sale of food and drinks in restaurants is then prohibited from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., a maximum of five people may meet - in some cases these are requirements of the Free State as part of the Corona traffic light that is now for the County is red.

Mask requirement and alcohol bans (now 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.) remain.

As already foreseeable in the lecture, a Starnberg line applies to schools and children's facilities: District Administrator Stefan Frey uses leeway and does not want immediate separation of classes in order to keep the school going as long as possible.

For this reason, the district does not initially require a mandatory distance of 1.5 meters in the classes with a value of 50 or more.

Teachers and students must then wear masks in all classes, including elementary school (regardless of the distance).

Students with cold symptoms (cough, runny nose, fever, etc.) are only allowed to go to school with a negative corona test.

The same would then apply to daycare centers.

The district has dropped the upper limit initially envisaged for groups of ten children - in order to secure operations.

Sunday, October 18, 1 p.m .:

There are still no new figures for the Starnberg district.

However, the Robert Koch Institute has marked the district orange again on its map and gives the seven-day incidence as 46.8 - almost twice as much as on Saturday.

The LGL had reported something similar, which is why Starnberg was not on the list of the state government with circles with restrictions from 35 on Saturday.

Why there were such differences is not yet known.

The news from Saturday

Saturday, 10 p.m .:

The district's new general decree is now available online.

You can read it here.

There is also a map of the areas where mask requirements and no-night alcohol are in place.

You can find the overview here.

Saturday, 7.30 p.m .:

The district has set its rules - initially for an incidence of less than 50. After the state government had a new infection protection ordinance since Saturday (the text can be found here), the district has adjusted its general decree.

It will apply from midnight on Sunday.

As long as the current 48.29 and no more than 50 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in seven days, this applies:

  • Mask requirement:

    Contrary to

    what

was initially envisaged, there will be no mask requirement in city centers and on lakeside promenades, but according to District Administrator Stefan Frey at all S-Bahn stations and their forecourts as well as in the area of Andechs Monastery and its parking lot.

In view of the weather, there is hardly anything going on at the lakes anyway.

  • Alcohol ban:

Between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m., alcohol sales at gas stations are prohibited across Bavaria if the incidence is more than 35.

The district defines areas in which alcohol is prohibited outdoors during this time.

There are S-Bahn stations and forecourts, Andechs Monastery with parking lot, the Starnberg Church Square, the Starnberg Lake Promenade between the barrier in the south and the exit of the Bucentaur Park in the north (park included) and on the Herrsching Lake Promenade between Seespitz and the sports field.

At the Starnberg lake promenade there is already a nocturnal alcohol ban in parts.

  • Events:

The previous rules continue to apply, which provide for an upper limit of ten people for private celebrations in private houses or restaurants.

For sports and cultural events, the previous regulations, which also provide for a mask requirement, remain in force.

In general, the requirements of the state government apply.

A disposition has been prepared in the event that the seven-day incidence exceeds 50.

Then there are special rules in schools for the district that differ from those of the Free State.

District Administrator Stefan Frey, who had conferred with the responsible employees all day on Saturday, does not want an immediate separation of classes in order to keep the school going as long as possible.

These special rules should apply for as long as possible, they are "still justifiable," said District Administrator Frey on Saturday evening to Starnberg Merkur.

After some cases in schools and children's facilities more than a week ago, there are currently no corona cases in this area.

Frey emphasizes that the regulations have been adapted to the current situation - and that can change very quickly.

The rules outlined above are provided for old people's homes with an incidence of 50 or more: one visitor, fixed visiting times, only one visit per day.

However, this is already a practice in many old people's homes.

Saturday, 5:35 p.m.:

Since it is now very likely that the district will exceed the limit of 50 on Sunday, the rules for when the Bavaria-wide uniform corona traffic light for districts is red:

At private celebrations, including in restaurants the upper limit then automatically for five people (under 50: ten).

This applies to meetings of several households.

The curfew is brought forward to 10 p.m.

The mask requirement will be expanded (it already applies to public buildings and the like; the list of busy places with a mask requirement should be available at the weekend): It then also applies to primary school students and all teachers, regardless of the distance.

If two classes in a school are affected by a corona case, a distance of 1.5 meters must be ensured in the classrooms - in practice this will mean class division and a partial return to homeschooling.

According to District Administrator Stefan Frey, the Free State requirement provides for stricter rules, but the district is using its leeway to make the whole thing more practicable.

Anyone who has a cold has to take the test and is only allowed to go back to school if the result is negative.

The same applies to children's institutions, which in 50 or more cases are only allowed to form groups of a maximum of ten children.

If necessary, the daycare requirements should apply from Wednesday;

likewise a regulation according to which asylum seekers have to wear a mask in communal accommodation when one is not in their room.

Saturday, 4.40 p.m.:

Later than usual, the district office published the daily figures for Saturday - there are 11 new cases.

According to the district authority, the seven-day incidence is 48.29, which is just below the limit of 50. However, on Sunday only a few cases are enough to exceed the limit.

The new general decree for the rules from Sunday is expected for this evening, but it has not yet been received.

You can find the exact new numbers here.

Saturday, 2.40 p.m .:

In the meantime, figures from the LGL are also available on Saturday, where the district also has a comparatively low seven-day incidence of 24.15.

New figures from the Starnberg District Office are not yet available.

The situation in the clinics is calm, there are only a few corona patients.

Saturday, 11.45 a.m .:

The seven-day incidence is decisive for all measures taken in the past few days, in which the new infections from seven days are converted to 100,000 inhabitants.

There is only one formula for this, but several results.

Currently, for example, the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) gives the value as 24.1 (district calculation: 44.63), which is why the Starnberg district is yellow on the map, while the surrounding area is orange to red due to higher values.

The background is that the RKI has not yet recorded all of the new cases from the district.

For example, no new case is reported for Saturday - there were 41 on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. The reporting process takes a few days.

The Starnberg district had a comparatively low seven-day incidence at the Robert Koch Institute on Saturday morning (like Garmisch-Partenkirchen) - because new cases have not yet been taken into account.

Deviations in the seven-day incidence can also result from the time of calculation.

The district office usually determines its value at lunchtime, while the RKI and the State Office for Health and Food Safety (LGL) specify values for midnight.

The LGL has not yet published any data this Saturday, nor has the district office.

Saturday, October 17th, 11 a.m.:

The corona virus is spreading rapidly in the Starnberg district as in the neighboring districts.

This weekend, the district office will issue a new general decree on the number of people at celebrations and the mask requirement outdoors.

It is certain that there will be compulsory masks on the lakeside promenades in Starnberg and Herrsching, in places like Starnberg Kirchplatz, at large train stations like Starnberg and Gilching and other places.

These regulations are expected to apply from Sunday.

The district office has calculated that the district currently has a seven-day incidence of 44.63 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in one week (as of Friday, 2 p.m.).

The types of calculation may vary depending on the point in time.

You can find the current corona numbers here.
