The Likud and Blue and White have agreed to vote tomorrow (Wednesday) against two proposals that will be put to a vote in the Knesset plenum, and could undermine the stability of the coalition.
This is despite the tensions between the parties.
The Likud will vote against a commission of inquiry into the justice system, and Blue and White will vote against the establishment of a committee in the submarine affair.
The first proposal is by MK Tamar Zandberg of Meretz and the Yesh Atid-Telam faction to establish a parliamentary inquiry committee into the submarine affair.
The proposal is intended to embarrass blue and white after last week the party leaders, Bnei Gantz and Gabi Ashkenazi, expressed public support for the establishment of a commission of inquiry into the affair, as part of a sharpening of the tone vis-à-vis the Likud in the coalition crisis over the budget.
Despite this, and even though it was one of the blue-and-white election promises, party MKs will not support it and some will even vote against.
Some MKs have been seeking offsets with opposition members since the beginning of the week so they will not have to actually go to the polls.

Another proposal that will go to the polls and may embarrass the Likud is that of MK Bezalel Smutrich on the right. Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit is heard expressing frustration with the conduct of State Attorney Shai Nitzan.
He said, "Netanyahu and his people who shout at Hamas about the failures of the justice system have not lifted a finger all these years to do anything about it.
This week they will have another chance to get started.

Smutrich's proposal, which was rejected twice in the plenum, caused a sharp coalition confrontation between the Likud and Blue and White in the first ballot. Tomorrow, the two parties will oppose the two proposals out of common interest.
