A young worker involved in a middle school student was arrested after throwing a petrol bomb at the side entrance of the Mong Kok Police Station. The middle school student was arrested for suspected absconding in inland waters. The worker admitted to arson in the District Court today (20th), and the judge stated that he believed that the prosecution was part of it. When the evidence is suspected to be insufficient, he is still willing to accept and plead guilty.
According to the case, the defendant once revealed to the police after his arrest that before he committed the crime, someone called him and said that he had a nude photo of his girlfriend and asked him to meet him. After the appointment, he saw 4 masked men who gave him petrol bombs and asked him to throw them at the police station. He also said that someone will be on the opposite road to check the wind and record the video, and to explain to the "big guy".
The defendant said that because of fear, he did not arrive at the assembly place after the throw. When he was arrested, he took off his headgear and said to the police that he was wrong.
Co-defendant is one of 12 Hong Kong people who absconded
Defendant Lin Xiaoxiong (21 years old, glass curtain wall worker) admitted that on October 14 last year, together with a male secondary school student surnamed Huang and other persons of unknown identity, he intentionally attempted to destroy or damage the Mong Kok Police Station by fire. Side doors, to endanger the lives of others, or to ignore whether the lives of others will be endangered.
The middle school student surnamed Huang mentioned in the charge is one of 12 Hong Kong people who were previously arrested for absconding to Taiwan’s inland waters. The 12 people are now detained in the mainland.
The defendant, Lin Xiaoxiong, claimed that someone claimed to have a nude photo of his girlfriend and asked him to help with affairs, but he wanted to throw petrol bombs at the police station.

Official questioned that there was insufficient evidence to prove that the defendant intended to hurt others
As soon as the judge opened the court, the prosecution had no evidence that the defendant had the same intention as the student surnamed Huang, namely to injure the police officer with gasoline bombs, and questioned why the charge was charged for this crime.
Regarding the prosecution's claim that the communication records between the student surnamed Huang and others showed that Huang intended to harm the police, the judge said: "Eating on the same table and practicing separately." However, this did not mean that the defendant intended to injure people, and there was no evidence that he was informed of Huang intend.
The defendant agreed with the prosecution's statement that he would plead guilty
After a brief adjournment, the prosecution said that it could sue based on environmental evidence, saying that there were police officers on guard at the side entrance of the police station, which constituted an element of disregard for the lives of others. The defense also agreed.
The judge said that unless the defense agreed, the court would not accept the defendant's plea.
People in black threw petrol bombs at Mong Kok Police Station
The case alleged that at around 9pm on October 13 last year, a group of masked men in black threw a number of petrol bombs at the front entrance of the Mong Kok Police Station. The police then sent officers to the side entrance to guard.
At more than one o'clock in the morning, the defendant and a student surnamed Huang each wandered around the police station with a petrol bomb and were kept under police surveillance along the way.
Soon, the defendant and a student surnamed Huang rushed to the opposite side of the police station, threw petrol bombs at the side door, and then fled.
The two petrol bombs fell outside the side door and shattered, but did not catch fire.

The defendant took off his hood and admitted to throwing a petrol bomb
The defendant and Huang were chased and arrested by the police. During the period, the defendant turned around and took off his headgear and threw it on the ground. After he was arrested, he said under the caution: "Ah sir, I know it is wrong. I admit that I have a petrol bomb. I have never seen it as serious."
The caller claimed to have nude photos of his girlfriend
He was warned to meet and said that he received an unknown call on the evening of the 13th. The caller asked him to meet in the early morning and said that he wanted to show him something. The caller had said that he had a nude photo of his girlfriend and wanted the defendant to do something for him.
The defendant met four masked men that night. Someone gave him a petrol bomb and told him to throw it at the Mong Kok Police Station at 1:15 in the morning.
Some people say they will record and explain to the big guys
The defendant claimed that after throwing a petrol bomb with another person, he did not go to the assembly place as directed due to fear.
He ran to the back alley and stopped, feeling overwhelmed and felt responsible for what he had done.
The defendant also alleged that someone was on the other side of the road and videotaped the story, saying that he wanted to explain to the "big guy"; he was not paid any money, and he had not shackled a petrol bomb before.
