A dispute over dogs not on a leash
At this stage, if the prosecution does not consider racism as a motive for the aggression, it thus retains it as an “aggravating circumstance”.
In addition to the stab wounds, two women of Algerian origin reportedly suffered racist insults.
The file is not closed, however.
A judicial source warns: "The judge can very well reclassify the facts".
The case dates back to Sunday.
That evening, in the darkness of the Champ-de-Mars park (7th century), a fight broke out between four women due, according to the police headquarters, to a "dispute over dogs not kept on a leash", in this case pitbulls, and without a muzzle.
The tone rises between, on the one hand, the two women accompanied by their young children frightened by the dogs, and on the other the two owners of the dogs, aged 22, who, moreover, are drunk.
One of them pulls out a knife and slashes the two women.
Then fled.
Her friend follows her but decides to turn around.
The police arrive on the scene, arrest the returned woman and then place her in custody.
The victims are evacuated to the hospital, injured, without their vital prognosis being engaged.
Presented to the examining magistrate
The next day, faced with the turmoil aroused in particular on social networks where one of the victims relayed the assault, the Prefecture of Police published a press release.

In the afternoon, the other woman, the alleged perpetrator of the stab wounds, was also arrested.
And placed in police custody.
The police went to her father's house in Seine-et-Marne, where she lives.
The young woman was absent.
She would have gone later of herself to the police station of the 7th arrondissement.
