The Duo HERZeigen brought songs and stories with a heart to the stage in the Jakobmayer Hall.

That went down well with small and large viewers.

Dorfen - elves are funny.

Foxes are smart.

And the dumpling is stupid.

That is known.

But anyone who thinks that pedagogical productions for children are bland is very wrong.

On Sunday afternoon, the Duo HERZeigen brought wonderfully adventurous songs and stories onto the stage in the Jakobmayer Hall.

A huge pleasure for young and old theater fans.

The elf in fairyland loves it when his beard is petted.

You can be charmed to tell three stories from his magic forest.

Once upon a time ... a dumpling that an old couple from Russia formed and then baked in beet oil.

This did not want to be eaten.

The dumpling hopped out of the house and into the big world.

Whoever he encountered quickly jumped away.

The lump probably thought it could make fools of all animals.

He was very wrong about that.

Because the crafty fox invited him to sit on his muzzle.

And whoosh, the dumpling landed in Reineke Fuchs's stomach.

The children sat in their seats in awe, gazed spellbound on the stage.

Isabelle Guidi and Sophia Müller danced and played the dumpling blues there.

They presented a composition of acting, pantomime, clowning and acrobatics.

It is their concern to “reach the hearts of their audience directly through warming imagination and joy in playing” - that's why the duo is also called HERZeigen.

But showing one's heart is not enough, showing one's heart was hip and the beautiful princess had more than enough of that in the next story.

The king's daughter married a little hedgehog, both brilliantly parodied by the two professional actresses from Tübingen.

The hedgehog is lightning smart.

Give in?

Pah!

He and fear?

I where!

And who would have thought?

The spiked animal soon became a beautiful prince.

And if they haven't died, then the courageous couple will still rule over the pigs in the fairy tale forest today, who of course are all happy and content.

Here the two artists encouraged the children to participate.

Hands up and pointing fingers - that liked the little audience.

Guidi and Müller had only a few props in their luggage.

And yet enchanted the stage in a fairy tale world.

For example, when they took out two huge sticks to tell the story of the two giants Rotzer and Fetzer.

One lived on the left side of a mountain, the other on the right.

It was really stupid that one of them wanted to beat the other.

He bravely went to the opponent's house.

But his wife said he was peeing and pointed to a waterfall.

Mei, thought Fetzer, if he has a beam like that, how big does the giant have to be?

Of course Rotzer couldn't put up with that.

But even this giant became a very little man.

Being large and small are not that easy to distinguish in the fairy tale forest.

Because courage and arrogance rule here.

After 50 minutes it was over.

"Seldom did my five-year-old son sit quietly in the chair for so long," said a mother after the performance.

And rarely have the children been so enchanted as by the two actors and their program "Wichtelwitz und Riesenmut." MICHAELE HESKE
