After many months of efforts and multiple contacts with the United States, Sudan has decided to normalize relations with Israel. Israel Today has learned from a knowledgeable political source.

The official and public announcement of the decision is expected this coming weekend, apparently after a joint phone call from President Trump and the chairman of Sudan's Provisional Council, 'Abd al-Fatah al-Burhan. Haaretz journalist Avi Shahaf revealed.

Israel Today has learned that there was a high-level Israeli delegation from the Mossad and the Prime Minister's Office on board.

The senior Israeli representatives met in the Sudanese capital with their counterparts in the Provisional Government.

In the conclusion of the talks, the final agreement was reached on mutual recognition of Israel and Sudan.

It should be noted that in the afternoon, Prime Minister Netanyahu again interrupted the meeting of the Corona Cabinet for what he defined as an "urgent national need."

It seems that the cessation of the discussion was, among other things, for the purpose of updating the issue of Sudan.

In any case, the expected Sudanese declaration of recognition of Israel will join the historic agreements already signed between Israel and the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain.
