The Commissioner for the Fight against Corona, Prof. Roni Gamzo, will today (Wednesday) recommend to the Corona Cabinet at a meeting opened to return to the second phase of grades 1-4 in capsules, with teachers and students being required to wear a mask in classes as well.
As you may recall, yesterday the meeting was postponed at the request of the professional bodies in the Ministry of Health.

The corona commissioner will also request that there be a regular separation and prevention of mixing in both lunches and shuttles.
The Ministry of Education clarified yesterday that returning to capsules in grades 1-2 would require a five-week deployment, with the initial goal being to return to school as early as next Sunday (two weeks after the first wave of relief).
Similar to the position of Health Minister Yuli (Joel) Edelstein, Gamzo demands that the fines be raised and that legislation be promoted on the first day of the Ministerial Committee on Legislative Affairs.
The good news is that according to Gamzo, there are currently only two red cities in Israel and two more localities.
Meanwhile, Finance Minister Israel Katz will demand a decision in the Corona Cabinet, which will allow small businesses and street shops, hairdressers and beauty salons and cosmetics to return to activity as early as Sunday, October 25, and Sunday, November 1, to allow all commerce, including markets, shopping centers and malls, and classrooms A-B and C-D (according to the existing outline) return to activity.
Along with the extensive assistance that the economic safety net provides to the self-employed and business owners, they should be allowed to return to full activity in order to reduce the severe and ongoing harm caused to them.
The Ministry of Health was given a long period of closure, in order to reduce the scope of the illness and allow the return of businesses in Israel to activity.
In light of the decline in morbidity, it is time to maintain the required balance between health and the economy, and return the business to full activity, while adhering to the purple mark and health guidelines.
In an early discussion with the Prime Minister and the Minister of Finance, Health and Education, the Minister of Finance clarified that the Ministry of Health's new proposal to operate first and second grades is unworkable and involves an additional budget cost of NIS 6 billion, after a budget of NIS 4.2 billion.
