The host of a bar on Goethestrasse disregarded the new Corona curfew on Saturday.
Germering - The police had been made aware of this by a caller. At around 11 p.m., a patrol found that there were several people in the restaurant who were consuming alcohol and playing darts. Guests smoked in front of the restaurant. Because the seven-day incidence in the district is constantly over 50, the new corona traffic light jumped to "red" on Saturday. The result: the landlord should have closed his restaurant at 10 p.m. According to police spokesman Andreas Ruch, it took almost 20 minutes before the 28-year-old restaurateur could get his guests to leave. Apparently, word of the new curfew had not got around to either them or the restaurateur. According to Ruch, he now has to expect a hefty fine.
