Former United States President Barack Obama has sided with former Vice President and Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden tonight (Thursday), who is in a close race with President Donald Trump in the crucial states.
This is only 12 days before the vote on November 3.
Obama, one of the big stars of the Democratic Party and a frequent target of attacks by Trump, appeared at Biden's election rally in Pennsylvania and brought support for him and the Democratic nominee for vice president, Camilla Harris.
In his opening remarks, Obama attacked Trump and criticized his performance in dealing with the corona plague.
"More than 200,000 Americans have died, more than 100,000 businesses have closed, millions have lost their jobs," the former president said.
"A president who ran in a midterm election should bear what the state looks like compared to what it looked like four years ago. Well, the only people whose situation has improved compared to four years ago," Obama continued, "are the billionaires who received tax benefits."
Obama criticized Trump's evasion of responsibility for managing the crisis.
"Let's be honest, this epidemic has been difficult for any president," Obama added.
"But another president would have done anything not to ruin the situation completely."
He said, "In Canada they do not do it as badly as we do, because there is a government there that pays attention."

"Joe and Camilla will protect your health insurance and make it available to everyone," Obama continued.
He continued to criticize President Trump, amid his remarks against American martyrs who died in World War II.
"Joe will not call our soldiers 'losers,' who does that? Joe will not act like that, he understands the sensitivity," he said, assuring the supporters that "with Joe and Camila you will not have these crazy statements. Every day".
Earlier, he joined the round table with black politicians in Philadelphia and community and religion leaders, calling on supporters to vote early for Biden and other Democratic candidates.
