The calf, found on Tuesday in his meadow, had a severed ear as well as the tongue and genitals.
Last Thursday, two calves had already been found dead and mutilated in the same department: one with the tongue and tail cut off, in Saint-Léger-sous-Beuvray, the other in Saint Eugène, the tongue cut and the eyes removed .
Many animals, most often equines, have undergone similar mutilations, often fatal, in recent months in France.
