Monday evening, around 6:50 p.m., two vehicles tried to run into a gendarme parked in front of the Israeli embassy, rue Rablais, in the 8th arrondissement of Paris, before fleeing.

The next day, the gendarme files a complaint for "attempted voluntary homicide".

The intentional nature of the act seems attested.

Quickly, the police noticed that the plates of the two cars involved - noted thanks to the CCTV cameras - were false.

Tuesday evening, the vehicles are spotted by other officials of protection institutions.

They were spinning in the streets of central Paris.

An hour later, a patrol identifies one of these cars, a Mercedes, parked rue Daunonu, in the 2nd arrondissement.

Its three occupants are arrested.

The other car, an empty BMW parked just behind, was immediately identified.

Surveillance is decided, until its four occupants come back and are arrested.

These seven individuals, two of whom are minors, did not have any papers but claim to be British citizens.
