Director of the General Organization for Social Insurance in Sweida, Nabil Al-Kuntar, stated that more than 227 million pounds were granted to retirees during the past nine months, in an easy way, with a ceiling of 500 thousand pounds for a single loan, with a payment period of three or five years.
Al-Kuntar added in a statement to the SANA Economic Bulletin that the branch allocated during the same period 851 new pensions for old-age, disability, death and work injuries, which were calculated after completing the necessary documents by the beneficiaries from them in addition to granting 421 compensation in one payment to workers whose services do not qualify them for the retirement pension, and 173 workers were registered. New private sector insurances through field trips to business owners.
The branch of the General Organization for Social Insurance in Sweida, last year, granted loans worth 153 million pounds.
