Bond Connect under the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (0388) pointed out that the new bond issuance system (ePrime) was officially launched yesterday, and the first bond issuance was completed in cooperation with the Agricultural Development Bank on the same day.
There are three types of bonds issued by the Agricultural Bank of China, raising a total of RMB 5.7 billion.
The ePrime system operates overseas, hoping to provide one-stop electronic services for the bookkeeping, pricing, and distribution of various overseas bonds including Chinese-funded US dollar bonds and dim sum bonds.
The company pointed out that Bond Connect has completed the first batch of contracts with 13 overseas underwriters, namely Standard Chartered, Bank of China Hong Kong, Bank of China Hong Kong Branch, Bank of Communications Hong Kong Branch, CCB Asia, CLSA, CACI, China Trust Bank, KGI Securities, Mizuho Securities, China Everbright Bank Hong Kong Branch, China CITIC Bank (International), CNCB Capital.
Bond Connect also pointed out that at present, 24 issuers and underwriters have joined the new bond appraisal link, which has released nearly 3,000 bond issuance information.
The company also pointed out that through ePrime, on the basis of providing information in the future, it can provide further issuance support for bond primary market participants.
