The Council of Ministers pronounced Wednesday (October 21st) the dissolution of the pro-Palestinian collective Cheikh Yassine, “
implied
” in the assassination of Samuel Paty, indicated the spokesman of the government Gabriel Attal.

This morning we pronounced the dissolution of the Cheikh Yassine collective, involved, linked to the attack of last Friday and for a long time the false nose of an anti-republican ideology which diffuses hatred
", he indicated during the account - rendering of the board.
Emmanuel Macron, who announced this dissolution on Tuesday evening, underlined during the Council of Ministers that "
the evil was named: it is political Islamism, which methodically maintains a deconstruction of the Republic
", reported Mr. Attal.
It is a "
security battle, educational, cultural, and a battle which will last
", added the Head of State.
The Cheikh Yassin collective - named after the founder of Hamas killed by the Israeli army in 2004 - was created by Abdelhakim Sefrioui, a radical Islamist activist currently in custody in the investigation into Friday's attack.
Mr. Sefrioui had notably posted a video on Youtube a few days ago in which he denounced the murdered professor, described as a “
thug
”.
This measure is in addition to the planned closure of the Pantin mosque on Wednesday evening, notably for having relayed a video denouncing Samuel Paty's course, as well as to the “
expulsions of radicalized people in an irregular situation
”.
