The Deputy Attorney General of the Knesset, Adv. Sagit Afik, ruled today (Wednesday) that the repeated vote on the proposal to establish a parliamentary inquiry committee to examine the submarine affair can be upheld. She explained that MK Miki Zohar (Likud) had the authority to request a vote Shemit, by virtue of being the chairman of the coalition, decided that he had requested this even before the electronic vote began. Adv. Afik added that there were three votes that were not counted in the first vote, so the end result was similar.
