Today, the Ministry of Health launched a campaign to enhance the protection of health workers, as part of its preparations to confront any possible new wave of the Corona virus.
From the Red Crescent Hospital in Damascus, the Minister of Health, Dr. Hassan Al-Ghabash, confirmed in a statement to reporters that all the requirements and means of protection and individual prevention have been secured and distributed to every specialist and resident doctor, health cadres, nurses and technicians in all governorates' hospitals, starting today, in addition to a vaccine against seasonal influenza, which will be provided to all of them.
"We are ready and prepared in the event of a new wave of Coronavirus, and to take all necessary to protect the health and safety of medical personnel and provide appropriate care to patients," said Minister Al-Ghobash.
