The Mexican Ministry of Health announced the registration of 522 deaths and 6,845 new cases of Coronavirus during the past 24 hours.
The ministry data indicated that the total number of deaths in the country reached 87,415 and infections 867,559, while the Mexican authorities indicated that the real number of people infected with the virus may be greater than the number of officially confirmed cases.
Mexico ranks fourth in the world in terms of the number of deaths from the Coronavirus, after the United States, Brazil and India, and it is also among the ten countries that have recorded the largest numbers of infections in the world.
In turn, Brazil recorded 566 deaths and 24,818 new cases of the virus, which brings the total number of infections to about 3.5 million, and deaths to 155,403.
In China, the National Health Committee said that 14 new cases of the virus were recorded yesterday, up from 11 the previous day, noting that all new cases came from abroad.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases on the Chinese mainland to 85,729, while the number of deaths remained unchanged at 4,634.
