It was thought that the problems with the transmission of the test results at the Corona station in Gilching had been overcome. Now the worm is apparently in again.

It was thought that the problems with the transmission of the test results at the Corona station in Gilching had been overcome.

Now the worm is apparently in again.

district

- The Corona Drive-In test center in Gilching and its problems with the result reporting app - a never-ending story.

As the Starnberger Merkur found out, there are again difficulties in the timely transmission of the test results to the visitors' cell phones.

Anything but a new phenomenon.

As a reminder: after the station at the old fairground, where every district citizen can be tested for the corona virus from the car, went into operation at the beginning of September, the first defects were revealed just a few days later.

Instead of having the result displayed on the smartphone using the Corona warning app within a maximum of 48 hours, as promised, many visitors waited up to five days for feedback.

A lack of reagents and insufficient capacity in the Augsburg test laboratory were probably the reason.

The district office reacted, from now on personally notifying those tested of their results.

At least until the situation in Augsburg had relaxed and the app was working.

The problem seemed solved.

In the meantime, however, the worm is obviously in again.

Several letters have reached the Merkur editorial team in the past few days, reporting that waiting times have again been days.

One of them comes from Elke Link from Berg.

She had herself examined for the Covid 19 pathogen last Thursday at 11.30 a.m. in Gilching.

“Everything went very quickly and smoothly,” she emphasizes.

So far, so wonderful.

Then the waiting began.

Elke Link receives no result for days

Link kept opening her Corona warning app.

Again and again she received the same sobering message: Your result is not yet available.

“At some point you will get restless,” she admits.

Link had voluntarily had himself tested, but anyone who has already completed the procedure knows that there is always a certain concern before the official all-clear comes.

Link has not received this on her cell phone to this day.

Only after five days, on Tuesday, did the negative corona result flutter into your mailbox by post.

"So in the end everything was fine," says Link.

"But just imagine if I had been positive and walked around with the virus for another five days."

A scenario that Christian Kröck categorically excludes.

The district office spokesman assures that the results from Gilching will continue to reach the local health department after 48 hours at the latest - and that every positive case will be informed immediately by phone and sent to quarantine.

"Nobody slips through there."

District office surprised by problems with Corona app

He is surprised that some people who tested negatively are now apparently having problems with the Corona app again.

"We have no information on this," asserts Kröck.

"So far, we have been of the opinion that everything is working as desired." In order to change something in this situation, his authority relies on appropriate feedback from the population.

In other words: If you have problems with the transmission of your results on your cell phone, you shouldn't be embarrassed to contact the district office.

"Only when we know about the difficulties can we react."

One way, identical to the first problem phase, is to inform everyone tested about their result by telephone.

This is very labor-intensive.

"But if it is necessary, we will do it of course."

Contact the district office

Anyone who does not receive their test results within 48 hours using the Corona warning app on their mobile phone should contact the district office immediately.

Either by phone at z (0 88 51) 14 81 58 or by email to rueckfrage-testverfahren@lra-starnberg.de.
