Damascus-Sana
The members of the Damascus Fire Brigade extinguished a fire that broke out in three trucks on the Mazzeh highway in Damascus, and the damage was limited to materials.
Colonel Mahmoud Al-Saleh, head of the Damascus Traffic Operations Department, said in a statement to SANA that the fire was controlled by Damascus firefighters, and there were no injuries but material damage to the vans in which the fire broke out, indicating that initial information indicated that there were petrol “pidons” inside them.
Colonel Al-Saleh indicated that the concerned authorities are carrying out the necessary investigations to uncover the circumstances and causes of the fire.
