Gender gaps against Trump

Added to the lack of support from women for the current president is the apparent erosion of the male vote in the states that gave him victory in 2016. The two simultaneous trends portray a country where the fight for equality is rooted, but machismo keep deciding elections


48%, 43%, 43%, 39%: Bush, McCain, Romney and finally Donald Trump have succeeded in attracting a declining proportion of women.

So far this century, they have traveled a downward ladder away from the Republican Party.

According to all the surveys, in 2020 it will go down one more notch: to 37%.

Meanwhile, men will prefer Trump, but, and this is crucial, they will do so by a substantially smaller margin than in 2016 ...
