Former United States President Barack Obama appeared last night (Thursday) in an election rally by his former vice president and Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden - who is in a close race with President Donald Trump in the swing states - in Pennsylvania.

This is only 12 days before the vote on November 3.

Obama, a prominent figure in the Democratic Party and a frequent target of attacks by Trump, expressed support for Biden and the Democratic nominee for Vice President Camila Harris at a rally in the Drive-In lot with 300 cars, while maintaining social distance.

In his opening remarks, Obama attacked Trump and criticized his performance in dealing with the corona plague.

"More than 200,000 Americans have died, more than 100,000 businesses have closed, millions have lost their jobs," the former president said.

"A president who ran in a midterm election should bear what the state looks like compared to what it looked like four years ago. Well, the only people whose situation has improved compared to four years ago," Obama continued, "are the billionaires who received tax benefits."

Obama criticized Trump's evasion of responsibility for managing the crisis.

"Let's be honest, this epidemic has been difficult for any president," Obama added.

"But another president would have done anything not to ruin the situation completely."

He even stung Trump, who underestimated the virus and became infected.

"He's not one who's going to protect us all," the former president said.

"He cannot even take the basic steps required to defend himself."

He added that the importance of health insurance is sharpening against the background of the health crisis.

He defended the Obama-Care reform he co-led with Biden, and promised that "Joe and Camilla will protect your health insurance and make it available to everyone."

He continued to attack Trump, amid remarks against American martyrs who died in World War II.

"Joe will not call our soldiers 'losers', who does such a thing? Joe will not act like that, he understands the sensitivity," he said.

"With him and Camilla you will not have these crazy statements every day."

In addition to the corona plague, Obama has criticized Trump's conduct toward American society, and his attitude toward protest movements that have sprung up in the country this year following the proliferation of blacks shot by police officers.

He supported protesters who went out to protest as part of the "black lives matter" movement.

"Camila and Joe understand that demonstrating for social justice is not 'anti-American,' but the most American thing there is. That's what this country was founded for - the pursuit of justice," he said.

"We deserve a president who understands that the lives of blacks are important - no more, but no less - than the lives of any other race."

"With Joe and Camilla there will be no such crazy statements."

In addition, he called for an increase in the turnout, and supported the use of postal voting, in light of Trump's claims about the possibility of vote-rigging.

"The right to vote is sacred, we need to make voting easier, make it accessible to everyone," he stressed.

"Democracy, and loyalty to the truth, are American values - and human, we must demand them back, and we can," Obama said.

"But to do that we need a voting rate that has never been seen before."

Concluding his remarks, the former president said that "we deserve a president who believes in science, who cares about American workers, and who believes in gender equality and racial equality."

Earlier, Obama participated in a roundtable discussion with black politicians in Philadelphia and community and religion leaders, calling on supporters to vote early for Biden and other Democratic candidates.

"Good to see you," to the participants, who received it with applause and applause.

Trump: The only Obama who was less happy than Hillary when I won

Biden is in a close battle over the electors of his native Pennsylvania, which is considered a swing.

In 2016, Democrats lost it to Trump by a small margin, and Biden visited it more than any other country during the campaign.

The last days of the campaign are taking place against the background of an increase in the incidence of the Corona virus in some states, some of which have even recorded a record number of hospitalizations, including those considered "swinging" such as North Carolina and Pennsylvania.

Concurrent with the event in Pennsylvania, Trump held an election rally - again this time without social remoteness - in North Carolina, another swinging state where opinion polls point to a tight race, Biden's candidate for vice president, Camela Harris, also visited the state to mobilize voters in Asheville counties And Charlotte.

Without social distance.

At the rally, Trump responded to Obama, attacking him as before.

"President Obama is helping with the campaign for the sleepy Joe Biden, that's good. No one has helped Hillary Clinton more corrupt than him, has he?"

"He said 'he will not be our president,' before that he said 'he will not run,' and then I ran. Then he said 'he will not get the nomination,' and then I won it. Then he said 'he will not be our president,'" he said. Then I won. "

Trump even claimed that "the only one who was less sad than Hillary that night was Barack Hussein Obama."

The president of the United States again referred in disapproval to his medical condition after recovering from Corona, saying "I feel like Superman."

He even promised that "I will make the treatment I received available to everyone, for free."

He dismissed comparisons between the United States and Europe when it came to dealing with the virus, arguing that "in Europe there is an increase in cases, and not talking about it."

"He said 'he won't run,' and then I ran."

Another issue that Trump mentioned at the rally was the beheading of the teacher in France.

He warned the crowd that the Democrats "opened the gates to radical Islamists, like the one who has now beheaded in France", while claiming, "I am leaving the terrorists out of our country".

Trump waved his relations with Israel and the "Abraham Agreement" as significant achievements of his foreign policy.

"I recognized the real capital of Israel and opened an embassy in Jerusalem and I recognized Israeli sovereignty in the Golan Heights," he said.

We are promoting peace in the Middle East, they signed with another country today. "
