The Brazilian Ministry of Health announced that 33,862 cases and 497 deaths were recorded from the new Corona virus during the past twenty-four hours.
Reuters reported that the total number of infections in Brazil has reached more than 5.3 million cases of the virus since the start of the pandemic, while the official death toll has risen to 155,900.
Yesterday, Brazil recorded 566 deaths and 24,818 new cases of the virus.
