Update from October 23:

According to the State Office for Health and Food Safety (LGL), the seven-day incidence for the Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen district was 45.3 on Friday (as of 8 a.m.).

That is a slight increase compared to Thursday, when the value was given as 44.6.

But it also means that the Corona traffic light for Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen has not yet been set to red.

This only happens if there were more than 50 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants within a week.

Update from October 22nd, 5 p.m .:

The district office delivers its weekly corona update: The number of people who have been infected with the corona virus in the district continues to rise.

According to the district office, 69 people from the district were infected with the virus and are therefore in quarantine on Thursday at 12 noon.

Three people are currently being treated as inpatients, but they do not have to be ventilated.

The 69 affected live in Bad Heilbrunn (1), Bad Tölz (5), Benediktbeuern (2), Bichl (1), Dietramszell (10), Egling (3), Eurasburg (3), Gaißach (5), Geretsried (11 ), Icking (2), Jachenau (1), Kochel am See (1), Königsdorf (1), Lenggries (2), Münsing (5), Reichersbeuern (1), Sachsenkam (1), Schlehdorf (1) and Wolfratshausen (13).

In total, the coronavirus has been detected in 751 people from the district since the beginning of the pandemic.

672 of them have since been released from quarantine and are considered to have recovered.

The number of those who died from or with the coronavirus remains at ten.

According to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), the seven-day incidence rose from 38.3 (on Wednesday) to 44.6.

However, this is the value for Thursday at midnight.

The RKI assumed that a total of 737 people in the district were infected - 14 fewer than reported by the district office at noon.

Hence, it is quite likely that the seven-day incidence will climb above 50 on Friday.

This would mean that the red warning level would be reached on the corona traffic light.

This would mean, among other things, that there is a curfew from 10 p.m. for restaurants.

From this time on there is also a ban on alcohol sales at petrol stations and alcohol in public places.

A maximum of five people or two households may then meet.

And: The mask requirement in class then also applies to primary school students.

However, some districts that are already above the critical mark have suspended this obligation.

How Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen will deal with it will be decided when the 50 mark is actually exceeded, says Sabine Schmid, spokeswoman for the district office.

Update from October 22, 9:13 a.m .:

The number of new corona infections is also increasing in the Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen district.

According to the Robert Koch Institute, 737 people have been infected with Covid-19 in the district since the beginning of the pandemic (as of October 22, 12 a.m.).

That is 12 cases more than the day before.

The seven-day incidence increases from 38.3 to 44.6 and is thus still below the red warning level on the corona traffic light.

With a view to the neighboring districts, this is still a relatively low value.

In Weilheim-Schongau the seven-day incidence rose to 96 on Thursday, in Miesbach it is 58, in Starnberg it is 56.3.

The district of Garmisch-Partenkirchen is currently least affected, with a seven-day incidence of 21.5.

Update from October 21, 5:03 p.m .:

Today, the Tölz health department received further positive cases at schools or at the Kinderhaus Zwergenland day care center in Geretsried, which was affected yesterday.

At the Lenggrieser St. Ursula-Gymnasium in Hohenburg

the coronavirus was detected in a high school student, the health department is currently informing the parents of the Q12 students and determining other contact persons.

After the positive case in Geretsried “Zwergenland” on Tuesday, research by the health department revealed that all groups are affected.

So far, the virus has been detected in two employees.

The entire facility was closed.

The health department is currently researching how many children are now affected by the quarantine or are not affected because they did not visit the facility during the infectious period.

A class was also closed at the Gymnasium Geretsried.

After further research by the health department, it turned out that a second class is completely affected.

As a result, 46 students are now in quarantine instead of the previous 35.

Update from October 21;

3:25 p.m .:

The Bad Tölz District Office has now announced which rules will come into force on Thursday, October 22nd in Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen.

After the signal value of 35 infected people per 100,000 inhabitants has been exceeded in seven days and the corona traffic light has turned yellow, the following applies:

1. Private celebrations and contacts are limited to a maximum of ten people or two households.

2. There is a curfew, a ban on alcohol sales at petrol stations and a ban on alcohol in public places from 11 pm to 6 am.

3. It is compulsory to wear a mask where people come together closer or longer: for example in public buildings, schools, at events (also for spectators at sporting events) but also in elevators.

4. A mask is also required on the meeting and traffic areas of the workplace, especially in elevators, hallways, canteens and entrances;

The same applies to the workplace if the minimum distance of 1.5 meters cannot be reliably maintained.

With regard to the mask requirement in heavily frequented public places, the district office coordinated with the cities in communities on Monday via video, according to information from authority spokeswoman Marlis Peischer.

"In doing so, we came to the joint conclusion that none of the public spaces is so heavily frequented that a mask requirement has to be ordered," said Peischer.

The experience of the past few days shows "that with the normally prevailing frequency, the applicable distances of 1.5 meters can be kept well".

In this context, however, the appeal is made to the population to strictly adhere to the distances and to wear a mask when things get tight.

Update from October 21, 10 a.m .:

The Corona traffic light in Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen jumps to yellow.

The seven-day incidence that the Robert Koch Institute published this morning is now 38.3 for the district - and thus above the limit value for the first corona warning level (35).

According to the RKI, 13 new confirmed infections with the coronavirus have been added since Tuesday.

The number of people who have been proven to have been infected since the beginning is 725 (as of Wednesday, midnight).

Stricter rules are likely to come into force in the district on Thursday, such as an extended mask requirement and a curfew at 11 p.m.

Update from October 20, 5 p.m .:

An employee at the “Kinderhaus Zwergenland” in Geretsried also tested positive for the coronavirus.

Therefore, according to the district office, a total of 19 children from three groups must be in quarantine by October 29th.

The health department is currently researching whether there are further contacts, especially among employees, and how these should be categorized if necessary.

No visits to the Wolfratshausen District Clinic

There are additional restrictions due to the increased number of cases at the district clinic in Wolfratshausen.

As managing director Ingo Kühn reports, there will again be an absolute ban on visitors from Friday, October 23rd.

This measure serves to protect both patients and employees, said Kühn.

In exceptional cases - for example with patients who are dying - a visit is possible "after individual consultation with the attending physician".

In the Asklepios City Clinic in Bad Tölz, the rule of thumb “one visitor per patient and day” has been in effect since last Saturday.

The infected person had “close contact” with 14 young people in their free time

As far as the person infected with the coronavirus at the Geretsried grammar school is concerned, the health department has now determined that they also had "close contact" with another 14 young people in their free time.

These are now also in quarantine.
