Discover the new Traversée de Paris, the unprecedented short story of Frédéric Beigbeder

2020-10-23T05:20:19.721Z

EXCLUSIVE - Each week, Le Figaro Magazine publishes an unpublished short story from a writer. It's Frédéric Beigbeder's turn.

The evening will take place in ten days, on November 5, 2020, but I cannot give you the address.

It is secret: the guests will receive it by WhatsApp one hour before the start of the party.

The Flore Prize will be awarded in a cellar in Saint-Germain-des-Prés.

The entrance will be off.

The building is completely soundproofed, the police cannot guess anything from the street.

Discreet guards in camouflage uniform will show you the way in the underground passages with flashlights.

It will be like Prohibition in New York, exactly a century later.

You will feel like you are in a Fitzgerald short story.

Besides, the music will be period: we will only listen to jazz (Benny Goodman, Duke Ellington, Sidney Bechet, Boris Vian).

There will be a Philtre bar, dancers in fringed skirts, a tapas buffet from Camdeborde.
