A young resident of the city of Westlake, in the US states of Ohio, was attacked last week, at one o'clock at night, apparently, with an uncontrollable urge to McDonald's.

The man, who was completely drunk, did not notice that it was one-and-a-half after midnight and walked to the local branch near his house.

To his surprise, even though the branch door opened when he pressed the handle, there was no one in the store who could supply him with the product.

At the same time, the burglary alarm went off and a city police team quickly arrived on the scene.

Since there was actually no burglary because the door was open, the officers who quickly arrived at the branch and were expecting a tough and armed robber found a confused drunk standing in front of an empty counter waiting for service.

They did not arrest him but accused him of misconduct and of walking around drunk in public.

At the same time, to prevent further incidents, they called the branch manager to come and lock him up.

The ridiculous supplier report, an amusing doubt sent by the police, stated that "an inspection of the place revealed that the nuggets were intact and no damage was done to any food or to the facilities and utensils in the restaurant."

This is not the first criminal-culinary case in the United States this week.

Last week, a resident of a Pennsylvania state named Joshua James was arrested for robbing three Taco Bell branches in three different cities across the United States.

Before being caught, he robbed $ 900 and caused a total damage of $ 7,000.

It all ended in arrest and prosecution on serious robbery counts.
