After more than seven months of restrictions imposed by the Government to try to combat the advance of the coronavirus, President Alberto Fernández announced on Friday the
continuity of isolation measures
for at least two more weeks.
"
We are going to continue as we are today for 14 more days
," said Fernández, referring to the continued isolation.
The president ratified the strict measures in the eight provinces that are currently most affected by the pandemic and also in the City of Buenos Aires.
The quarantine, now stricter in the interior of the country, will continue
at least until Sunday, November 8
.
"Yesterday the minister (Ginés González García) spoke with the consultants to see how the virus evolves and yesterday I spoke with the governor of the province of Buenos Aires (Axel Kicillof) and with the head of the Buenos Aires government (Rodríguez Larreta) and with 8 governors of the provinces where 55% of the contagions in the country are concentrated, "Fernández explained.
The announcement was made by the president from Misiones, where he previously inaugurated works together with the provincial governor Oscar Herrera Ahuad.

He also inaugurated the facilities of the Capioví Hospital.
