The number of corona patients at the Freising Clinic is increasing.
Strict rules apply to visitors.
Freising
- In order to guarantee the "maximum possible protection for employees and patients", the Munich Clinic has imposed a ban on visits.
This is not yet planned for the Freising Clinic.
However, there are strict rules for visitors.
Meanwhile, the number of corona patients is also increasing there.
Klinikum Freising: Eleven patients in the intensive care unit
According to the clinic, there are eleven patients with symptoms of the disease in the isolation ward, five of which tested positive and four tested negative.
These negative cases are now transferred to the normal ward.
Two of the patients in the isolation ward are still waiting for their test results.
Two corona patients who tested positive were in the intensive care unit on Friday.
One has to be ventilated.
So the situation is still manageable, which is why there is no ban on visits.
Further developments will show whether this can be maintained, says clinic spokesman Sascha Alexander on request.
Visitors have to log in - security service checked
Currently, you have to register before visiting.
One family member is allowed per day, although the person can also change - or always the same contact person for a patient.
The visit can last a maximum of one hour (daily from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.).
A security service checks the registration at the entrance.
A fever measurement follows.
If the temperature is above 37.5 degrees, the visitor will be turned away.
Every visitor is also given extensive information material.
“These measures ensure that there are no uncontrolled visits,” explains Alexander.

The mask requirement applies from this Friday. Freising's police chief Ernst Neuner explains how the zones were selected - and what needs to be considered now.
The increasing number of infected people in the Freising district has an impact on schools: Again, numerous students have to be quarantined.
