The Special Representative of the Russian President for Middle East and African Affairs and Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov reaffirmed the commitment to Syria's sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity.
According to a statement by the Russian Foreign Ministry reported by Russia Today, Bogdanov stressed during his meeting in Moscow with Assistant Foreign Minister in the Turkish regime, Sedat Onal, the importance of continuing to make coordinated efforts, including within the framework of the Astana process, to contribute to achieving a comprehensive solution to the crisis in Syria on the basis of UN Security Council Resolution 2254. .
With regard to the Libyan issue, according to the statement, the importance of the comprehensive nature of the Libyan national dialogue under the auspices of the United Nations was emphasized and its adoption of the decisions of the Berlin Conference and UN Security Council Resolution 2510.
The closing statement of the Berlin Conference on Libya held last January emphasized the necessity of non-interference in the internal affairs of this country and that the solution to the crisis in it would be through a comprehensive political process.
