Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stressed today that Moscow will not tolerate the "rough" behavior of Western countries towards it, expressing his disappointment over German reactions about the complications in the relations between the two countries.
"We are determined to continue trying to explain their position," Peskov was quoted by TASS news agency, adding, "There are some complications in relations with Germany, but we still need to work together to overcome them in some way and we are disappointed after our attempts to work together failed."
Peskov pointed out that Moscow will continue to explain its position to its European partners, recalling President Vladimir Putin's statements that Russia and Germany have united through joint interests and projects with Berlin being Moscow's second trade and economic partner after China.
