The terrorist organization has set up a secret headquarters in Turkey where cyber and intelligence operations are being carried out, the Times of London reported this morning (Friday).
Prior to the report, the headquarters was located in the capital Istanbul and was established two years ago.
It also shows that according to Western intelligence sources, it is separate from the organization's official offices that exist in the city and are mainly engaged in coordinating operations and financing them.
The unit itself is run by Hamas' military leadership in Gaza and opened without the knowledge of the Turkish government.
According to other sources, the operatives of the special headquarters are not known to other Hamas members in Turkey and, as mentioned, the local president Erdogan is also unknown about their presence in the country.
